CASE STUDY - IKEA, Brent Park

Situation

IKEA were undertaking an extensive refurbishment project of their shop and required additional 'selling space' during a period of six months when they were going to lose up to 40% of their existing space.

Solution

Aganto worked alongside the project team at IKEA to devise a solution that would enable business to continue largely unaffected, by providing shop floor space for the seven month period, at a commercially attractive price.

This solution included flooring, electric sliding doors, windows, emergency exit doors and roller shutter access doors for forklift access.

Execution

The whole turn-key project from the first telephone call until the facility was 'handed over', took a mere 6½ weeks.  IKEA also had the additional benefit of choosing how long they required the facility allowing for any delays in the renovation project.
